Summary
The Ancient Greek Civilization began about 700 B.C. The Greek culture began with one large tribal group invading Greece from the north around 1200 B.C. The Civilization was located in Mainland Greece and the Greek Island. It was also located in Turkey, Italy, Sicily, Northern Africa and far west France. The Civilization ended in 146 B.C because of the victory of the Romans at the battle of Corinth.
